Chapter 6: War and its Causes

Your populace is furious. Congress impeaches you and you are thrown out of office in disgrace. Your critics invoke the Munich analogy, and claim that your appeasement of Bolivia is a travesty. After your departure from office, your successor attempts to reverse your actions, but Bolivia claims that your agreement is final and invades Peru to claim its territory. A long and bloody war follows, and tens of thousands of soldiers and hundreds of thousands of civilians are killed on both sides. You are forced to flee to Brazil for protection. Since you are no longer in power and cannot appear publicly, you cannot make any further decisions to affect the course of the war.
