Chapter 3: Theories of International Relations


Tensions are too high for bilateral talks. After a tense first day, the talks completely fall through in the second day. Iran vows that as long as Israel 'refuses to cease its regional tyranny' Iran will pursue a nuclear program for the safety of 'all of those nations who value peace'. Israel claims that it will not 'tolerate rogue nations with no ability to discern right from wrong'. It is too late now for multilateral talks.

While there are no major domestic repercussions for Germany, the international community must wait with bated breath while applying behind-the-scenes pressure on each state to avoid major conflict or a Cold War-esque nuclear standoff.
